What is WICC?
WICC has been delivering landcare services and advice across the Wilson Inlet Catchment (see map below) for nearly 30 years. What started with the humble beginnings of several farmers wives getting together to address community concerns regarding sustainability, has now grown into a tax deductible charity which currently manages 7 grants tackling waterways, biodiversity and sustainable agriculture intititatives across our catchment.
WICC will soon be launching a host of fully costed, shovel ready projects across the catchment area which the community can invest in with their time or money. We wants these projects designed by forward thinking local talents (one thing we are blessed with in our catchment).
WICC Board Members meet once every 6 weeks at the moment. This can be done in person at one of our offices or via Zoom. If you are interested, we want to learn more about you. Please complete the Expression of Interest section below. We encourage you to read our NEW Strategic Plan before submitting your expression of interest.
Thanks.
