Your contributions have secured this property for conservation and enabled its ongoing management and protection. Key activities include:
Since 1996, the Wilson Inlet Catchment Committee (WICC) has delivered award-winning landcare programs, focusing on biodiversity, waterways and wetlands, and sustainable agriculture. Governed by a nine-member board of directors—comprising scientists and conservation-minded farmers—WICC champions collaborative environmental stewardship.
To ensure dedicated and specialised management of Eungedup Wetlands, WICC has established the Eungedup Wetlands Management Group. Guided by the newly developed Eungedup Wetlands Management Plan, crafted by experts from various organisations, the group serves as custodians of these vital wetlands, committed to their preservation and protection.
- Revegetating the area with native seedlings sourced from local provenance.
- Implementing effective weed control measures.
- Managing feral predators such as foxes and cats.
- Addressing nutrient management on adjacent properties.
- Conducting comprehensive monitoring of water quality, bird populations, and predator activity.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible in Australia. Donors will receive an annual report on Eungedup Wetlands so they can see how their money is making a difference for wildlife.
Every $5,000 donated will result in the protection of over one hectare of precious wetlands. If the agreed purchase price of $505,000 is not fully raised, the management group will look to purchase a lesser area of wetland from the seller.
