Dung beetle post-release survey

Thanks for being part of our dung beetle program! Since we released winter dung beetles (Bubas bison) on your farm, have you have seen any signs of dung beetle activity during this winter? This information will help us target future dung beetle releases.

Have you seen signs of dung beetle tunnelling on your farm this winter? *

Yes, I have seen tunnelling. No, I haven’t seen any tunnelling. I haven’t looked, or not sure what tunnelling looks like.

If you have seen tunnelling, how many of the dung pads do you estimate have beetle activity (tunnels) on or next to them? *

None Less than 10% have beetle activity. 10-50% have beetle activity. 50-80% have beetle activity. More than 80% have beetle activity, multiple tunnels per dung.

Is there more winter beetle activity on your farm since we released the Bubas bison? *
