1080 Baiting on your property

WICC is 1080 baiting in the Wilson Inlet Catchment!

If you are interested in baiting (or already bait) on your property then we would love to partner with you in order to help control feral animals in our catchment.  We will be using 1080 Canid Pest Ejectors.  This system is permanently fixed and can not be translocated by birds.  In order to deliver the best possible outcomes we will be seeking to bait on all neighbouring properties to yours.

This is how the program works...

We will supply the the Canid Pest Ejectors, Baits and Training (if you are not already qualified).  We will also pay the DAFWA application fee for your Restricted Chemical Permit Application.  Our experienced feral animal pest controller will supply you with your ongoing baits (every six weeks) and provide mentoring to ensure that you implement the most effective baiting possible.
There are a few criteria which participants need to abide by:
  • Be located in the Wilson Inlet Catchment area
  • Sign a waiver
  • Complete a Restricted Chemical Permit Application (we can assist you however this is your ultimate responsibility)
  • Maintain signage (we will provide you signage)
  • Take responsibility for your domestic animals (dogs)
If you are interested in taking part in our baiting program, please completed the Baiting EOI below:

We will also be trapping cats and can provide specialised solutions to suit your particular needs.
Please list any native fauna which occurs on your property or adjacent to your property. We are especially interested in Black glove Wallabies.
